Julia Livingstone
A life-long lover of music and stories, Julia is double majoring in English and Musical Theatre at Jessup University in Rocklin. Her roles include Eulalie Shinn (The Music Man), Mrs. Darling (Peter Pan), Miss Andrew (Mary Poppins), and Mabel (The Pirates of Penzance).
She has won the Placer Pops Chorale vocal scholarship and performed with the Pops in Glasgow. Her passion for music has led her to study Vocal Pedagogy and sing with Jessup’s Masterworks Chorale. Outside of teaching voice, she has music directed The Stage Downtown’s Willy Wonka Jr. and Rapunzel, and directed the children’s Christmas choir at Bayside Blue Oaks.
Julia fell in love with theatre as a 10-year-old at CYT Sacramento, and in high school, she discovered her love for teaching at Cornerstone Christian School’s elementary theatre program, OnStage.
Julia loves empowering the next generation of young artists to find their true voices through song, and she hopes to pass on the delightful responsibility of honest storytelling as a high school English and Theatre teacher.
